Your Role

We are looking for a creative and innovative Embedded Software Engineer to strengthen our R&D team. You will work closely with hardware engineers, designers, and product teams to develop and optimize embedded systems for our advanced textile machinery. Your contribution will have a direct impact on the performance, reliability, and user experience of our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for textile machinery and control systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software with hardware components
• Optimize real-time performance and ensure system stability
• Test, debug, and troubleshoot embedded systems and firmware
• Stay up to date with new technologies and apply them to ongoing projects

Your Profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or equivalent experience
• Strong interest in learning and applying new technologies
• Open-minded, analytical, and solution-oriented
• Excellent knowledge of C++ for embedded development
• Language skills: English and Dutch are mandatory
• Experience with microcontrollers and hardware interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART) is an advantage
• Familiarity with embedded Linux or other real-time operating systems is a plus
